I’ve been job hunting lately, and writing a good cover letter is the
most important thing you can do, but after writing them over and over
again, the process becomes quite tiring. It’s no wonder so many people
write lame letters from templates and get nothing. I thought it was
time to make fun of cover letters. The result, after the jump.
A few moments ago, I was filling out yet another pathetic chain-mail survey, but one question got to me. The question goes as follows:

A "spinner" wheel contains a spoke plate attached to the wheel's hub, which begins to spin using the kinetic energy generated by the vehicle's motion. Additionally, it is not uncommon for the outer spoke plate to be fixed so that even when the vehicle is moving, it remains stationary.

Everybody loves The Daily Show. At least, those who don't are of no consequence and therefore dead to me.
At any rate, Dimitri Martin's Trendspotting segment finally focused on social networking websites, mainly on Myspace, this past February 15th. Thanks to the miracle of Google Video, we can legally watch the clip over and over again… not because Google asked permission, but because Google is all-powerful and need not worry about puny copyright violations.

You've heard all the jokes stemming from the "I wish I knew how to quit you" trailer for Brokeback Mountain–In fact, if you know me, you've heard some of them from me. Now, someone has done an incredibly good job piecing together scences from Back to the Future films into a hillarious tralier for a gay love story called Brokeback to the Future. Prepare for 90 seconds of funny.

I was just listening to Coldplay's big fat hit from yesteryear "Yellow" and realized it was ripe for rewriting as a song making fun of emo kids, since the words "yellow" and "emo" rhyme nicely, and it's got that soft, moody, lilting sound that might sound just like emo crap were its melody punked up a notch.
